Netizens are furious after BLACKPINK‘s Jennie was subjected to rude behavior and guilt tripping after interacting with fans.
Jennie is currently in Paris.
She was even seen interacting with fans and promoting her upcoming track.
The main reason for Jennie’s trip was to attend the CHANEL show, and the idol shocked netizens with her blonde hair transformation.
While in Paris, Jennie has also been having some free time and was spotted shopping, but also took a selfie with some fans.
Yet, shortly after the photo was posted, netizens found a clip showing the disrespect and rudeness Jennie was subjected to in order to get the selfie.
In a video posted, when Jennie walked out of the store, the fans waiting for her said, “Are you serious? Do you hate us?” As Jennie kept walking to the car, the fans kept asking and insisting on autographs, adding that it’s so easy and one was even heard saying, “It’s the same story.”
As Jennie came back and started signing, the idol was interacting with the fans and had a smile on her face. After signing, one netizen said, “No selfies?” and even when Jennie explained that she had somewhere to be, the fans kept insisting and the idol eventually took it.
After the video was posted, netizens shared their anger at seeing the fans’ treatment of Jennie, with many saying that they were guilt-tripping the idol when they could see that she was busy. Also, considering it was a private schedule with no announcement, they hated that the netizens seemed to have stalked Jennie.
