Colby Minifie has been playing Ashley since season 1 of The Boys. The intriguing character has been toying the line between getting lasered by Homelander and trying to get on his good side throughout the show. Although her circumstances evoke some sympathy for the character, she has also done some questionable and even diabolical acts that annoyed fans to no end.

Minifie brilliantly balances these dual sides of the characters with great conviction and it makes Ashley endlessly interesting despite her questionable actions. Some fans usually associate a character with the actors\actresses who portray them and the actress proved that she is nothing like her characters from the hit show in a recent photoshoot.

As uploaded by dgphotoholic on Instagram, Minifie is approached by a photographer who wants to take some photos of the actress. Unlike Ashley, Minifie is extremely kind and agrees to the offer and even shoots some adorable pictures with her sister who is with her on a street in New York City. The resulting pictures are beautiful and fans will be awestruck by how incredibly photogenic she is.

Colby Minifie Wants to See An Alliance Between Ashley And Starlight In The Boys Season 5

The ending of the fourth season of The Boys placed many of its characters at their lowest points while Homelander is at his peak. Some supporting characters who reluctantly aligned with Antony Starr‘s character took big risks in the latest season to ensure their survival amidst the chaos. One of them was Colby Minifie’s Ashley and in the finale, she is seen injecting Compound V which has a drastic effect on her.

In an interview with TV Guide, the actress praised her character’s evolution in season 4 and her secret alliance with A-Train. While she would love to be on the run together with the speedster in season 5, she also sees Starlight as a person who would understand her plight and see the humanity in her. Minifie said,

I think she has a similar relationship journey with Starlight where she really has a lot of issues with Starlight and has had for a long time. And I think if she were to have an alliance with anyone in the Boys, it would probably be her — because Starlight is the only person that’s been like, ‘I see there is a human inside of you, Ashley.

While the two characters have not seen eye to eye frequently, their current situation may indeed bring them together in order to survive what’s coming. Season 5 promises to be a bombastic season where everything goes down and The Boys will need every helping hand even if it’s from a rival member.
