BLACKPINK‘s Jennie recently showed up at the prestigious MET Gala. She graced the 2024 event with her beauty, decked out in a gorgeous blue dress from ALAIA. The star wore icy blue eyeshadow to match.
Via Instagram, Jennie treated fans to a series of candid photos taken on a phone, giving BLINKs a behind-the-scenes peek.
She also uploaded various HD photographs from photographers at the event.
Jennie also uploaded a photo of her and model Vittoria Ceretti side by side.
Fans quickly noticed that the photo was not the original copy. Jennie had edited the people out from the background!
She edited out stars such as Thai actor Bright, as well as other staff, leaving only her and Vittoria front and center. Fans were highly amused to see such a big star like Jennie edit her photos for “the gram.”
Many called her “for the girls” as she left only her and Vittoria in the photo.
This is actually a common practice for many celebrities. Sometimes, it serves to protect those caught off-guard from unwanted pictures. At other times, it reduces exposure of other celebrities on one’s social media.
