Kim Kardashian is seeking a restraining order against an alleged stalker previously accused of harassing actress Emma Roberts.
According to Kardashian’s filing, Roberts warned her that Melvin Jeffery Conley allegedly told her he wanted to get in touch with Kardashian and her kids.
In the documents obtained by TMZ, the alleged stalker broke into Roberts’s home and then called her from her own landline. He fled before police arrived.
Legal move: Kim Kardashian, seen in 2022, has filed for a restraining order against Melvin Jeffery Conley, according to documents obtained by TMZ
Kim’s restraint order request states that Conley visited the home of her mother, Kris Jenner, the day after fleeing Roberts’s home.
He claimed to security guards at the house that he was Kim’s ‘long-term manager’ and an NBA player with the Toronto Raptors.
His attempts to contact Kim, 43, continued in July when he allegedly visited a home she owns in Malibu, California – one that is difficult to locate and is not her primary residence.
It’s thought this could indicate how strongly Conley feels about contacting her family.
Protection: Roberts, pictured in November, eventually got a five-year restraining order against Conley
Roberts was eventually able to secure a five-year restraining order against Conley.
It provides the same protection for her three-year-old son Rhodes Robert Hedlund – whom she has with her ex, the actor Garrett Hedlund -after Conley allegedly mentioned the boy’s name during his call with Roberts.
This led her to fear he may have intended to harm her son.
Roberts, 33, and Kim collaborated on American Horror Story: Delicate and are working together again as producers on the upcoming Netflix series Calabasas.
Ordeal: Conley tried to scale a fence at a home owned by Kim (pictured) in Malibu. He’s also visited the home of her mother, Kris Jenner
