Kim Kardashian humorously took Jimmy Fallon to task during their playful battle of the Beats headphones.

Both celebrities are currently in a friendly rivalry as they launch new headphone lines in collaboration with Beats Electronics, the brand founded by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine in 2006.

In anticipation of the launch, the late night host gifted Kim a pair of his Beats headphones, and her reaction — especially to their mustard yellow color — was quite dramatic.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the reality star, 43, shared photos of the headphone delivery along with a touch of subtle shade.

‘I just got this box of Beats by Jim, Jimmy Fallon,’ Kim said with a laugh in the clip. ‘Ummm what is this color? It is…I’m a little confused. Did they send me the wrong ones?’

Beats by Kim, meanwhile, are available in three of her signature neutral shades.

The playful jab persisted in the social media post as she laughed while reading a note from the former Saturday Night Live star.

‘”So excited to share my prototype of Beats studio pro headphones collaboration and as for the color I’m delighted to introduce mustard inspired by my love for hot dogs.”‘ Kim read aloud.

She then sarcastically added, ‘Um, I’m so proud of you Jimmy. I mean I wouldn’t wear these.

‘Stay true to yourself dude, authentic.’

On Tuesday, Beats by Dre dropped an advertisement teasing the ultimate showdown between Kim and Jimmy.

The ad starts with Jimmy, 49, walking in the Beats headquarters as an assistant tells him that her dad is ‘such a fan’ of his – all the while the visible staff have Kim rocking a Beats headphone on their computer screen.

Her hilarious new ad comes amid Kim’s budding acting career – after she got rave reviews for her performance in Ryan Murphy‘s American Horror Story.

As their are walking through the office, Jimmy tells the assistant: ‘I’ve always wanted my own signature beats and today it’s finally happening.

The assistant guided him to the waiting room and Jimmy spotted a sign for a focus group that read: ‘Focus Group Beats X Kim Beats X Jim.’

Jimmy peeks in the room and sees Kim’s ad and collection on the screen as the focus group watches on.

He looks shocked as he watches Kim’s stunning Beats ad, which shows her flipping her hair as she gazes seductively for the cameras.

Kim sported a cropped white T-shirt as she poses sideways for the ad, wearing a taupe colored pair of Beats headphones.

She poses up a storm as a wind machine flutters her hair in the ad, later ending with her holding a cream pair and a chocolate brown pair in her her hands.

The ad ended with the text ‘beats x kim’ as she smiled for the camera.

A woman running the focus group then says: ‘So moving on to Jimmy’s,’ as she click it to start.

Jimmy’s ad features the late night host rocking a mustard yellow with black accented track suit – perfectly matching his mustard yellow pair of Beats headphones.

He is seen on a stage with a red chair and a red hued microphone while rocking yellow and black sunglasses.

The cheesy ad he had had him posing and bopping the headphones as he is heard whispering ‘spicy.’

Jimmy grinned ear to ear as he watching his own ad.

The screen then featured both ads with the leads for the focus group telling them that they can only go forward with one set of headphones – beats by Kim or beats by Jim.

One focus member said: ‘Kim’s are beautiful’ and another focus group member said: ‘Jimmy’s are gross.’

The first focus member added: ‘Beats by Kim look amazing. I haven’t felt this happy in years.’

Jimmy looked confused as he heard the feedback.

The lead said: ‘All that from these headphones. Fantastic.’

The second focus group member said: ‘Why would anyone willfully choose Jimmy’s when Kim’s exists.

The second focus member asked what the color was for the headphones he chose, to which the leads tell them ‘mustard.’

One of the focus members ask if its after the condiment, to which one of the leads says, ‘Jimmy is a big fan of hot dogs so he wanted to pay tribute to that.’

The second focus member joked: ‘My man looks like he needs to lay off the hot dogs,’ which caused them all to burst into laughter.

Jimmy runs in and asks them: ‘Sorry – I’m going against Kim Kardashian? That’s not fair. Hers are sleek, they’re chic. They’re….’

Kim’s voice is heard finishing his sentence, saying ‘iconic.’

Kim was in the room the whole time and turned her swiveling chair around to reveal her presence.

She finished her sentence: ‘… is the word your looking for.’

Kim looked beautiful in a gray and white pinstripe suit.

Jimmy nervously says ‘hello Kim’ as she makes her way over to him.

She stands in front of him as the focus group and leads watch on.

He whispers to her, ‘What are you doing here? Don’t you have 30 jobs?’

She walks in even closer to him as says ‘Soon to be 31.’

The screen turns black as it says Kim vs Jim. There can only be one. It goes back to them in the board room, with Jimmy telling her ‘May the best person win,’ as he puts his hand out to shake hers.

Jimmy runs in and asks them: ‘Sorry – I’m going against Kim Kardashian? That’s not fair. Hers are sleek, they’re chic. They’re….’

She doesn’t lift her hand up to shake his, as she tells him ‘Thank you I will.’

He closes his fist as she stares him down, before the screen turns black again with brand name Beats on it.

Kim most recently starred in American Horror Story as Siobhan Corbyn – with her performance being critically applauded.

She currently working on producing The 5th Wheel – which she is also set to star in.
