The Boys Season 4will feature The Walking Dead and Supernatural actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan in a supporting role, but fans want to know who he is playing. Here is all you need to know.
Which character is Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing in The Boys Season 4?
Jeffrey Dean Morgan was originally speculated to be playing Robert Vernon, aka Tek-Knight, a character in The Boys comics who serves as a parody of both Marvel’s Iron Man and DC’s Batman. However, the spin-off series Gen V debunked this theory by featuring Tek Knight in his first live-action appearance, where he was played by Derek Wilson.
Although Morgan did not end up playing Tek Knight, there are still other characters he could end up playing, one character is Malchemical, who in the comics universe is a Supe that possesses the ability to shape-shift by altering his form, material, and density in any way he chooses.
Malchemical’s personality makes him a good fit for Morgan as the Supe uses his powers to hurt other people for his sadistic pleasure. Morgan’s experience playing the similarly sadistic Negan in The Walking Dead and the creepy Comedian from Zack Snyder’s Watchmen can easily allow him to slip into this role.
Yet another character Morgan could play is John Godolkin, a parody of Marvel’s Professor X and the one who gives Gen V’s Godolkin University its name. John is a deeply despicable character and Morgan has proven via his portrayals of Negan and Comedian that he can easily tackle this role if it’s given to him.
However, it is also entirely possible that Morgan could be playing an original character in The Boys Season 4, where he plays a regular person who is likely affiliated with antagonist Victoria Neuman and helps her in her presidential campaign. This is more likely considering Morgan’s first photo from The Boys Season 4 featured him in a regular business suit instead of a superhero garb.
