The Rock makes an appearance in ‘Fast X

The Rock grabs attention with his appearance in the post-credit scene of the blockbuster 'Fast X.' The actor delights audiences as he returns to the highly successful Hollywood franchise.

According to People, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will make a guest appearance as Luke Hobbs in the upcoming film Fast X. This information has surprised fans as the actor had previously stated that he would not return to the highly successful Hollywood franchise.

Exclusive sources from The Wrap reveal that the actor born in 1972 unexpectedly appears in the post-credit scene of Fast X. Currently, neither The Rock nor Universal Pictures have provided an official response to this information.

In 2011, The Rock joined the blockbuster Fast Five, and subsequently appeared in three films of the Fast & Furious franchise. The relationship between the actor and Vin Diesel soured after the film Fast & Furious 8 (2017). As a result, The Rock parted ways with the series after starring in the spin-off film Hobbs & Shaw (2019) alongside Jason Statham.

In November 2021, Vin Diesel posted an article expressing his desire for The Rock to return to the blockbuster Fast X film. In an interview with CNN, the former wrestler responded that he was surprised to read the content and called it an example of manipulation.

“I spoke with Vin Diesel that I would not return to the franchise. I was very firm in saying that and always support the cast in continuing the success of the Fast & Furious brand,” shared The Rock.

He further stated, “That post was an example of Vin Diesel’s manipulation. I don’t like him mentioning his children in the post, as well as the departure of Paul Walker. Don’t drag them into this. Diesel and I had a conversation about this months ago, and everyone understands the issue.”

According to The Wrap, spanning over two decades, Fast & Furious has become the eighth highest-grossing film franchise in Hollywood history, earning an impressive $6.7 billion.
