Major The Boys characters found themselves in trouble at the end of Season 4.

The Boys Season 4 left our team of rebels struggling against a significant number of odds, with multiple players finding themselves being captured by various supe militia sent by Homelander. The episode also sees Homelander taking control of the country, as The Boys fail to escape in time and are understood to have been taken in by Vought.

The Season finale was always going to result in a number of theories cropping up, especially considering fans will have to wait for two long years in order to see what happens next. Until then, of course, they will have Season 2 of Gen V to contend with, now looks set to have a range of cameos by multiple primary characters. One theory, even speculates that the likes of Kimiko, Mother’s Milk, Hughie and Frenchie, all taken in by various supes, will end up at the exact same palace where the likes of Jordan, Emma and Andre ended up, at the end of Gen V Season 1.

This The Boys theory brings together major players from the universe in Gen V Season 2

Gen V Season 1 saw the likes of Marie, Jordan, and Andre being captured and taken to a hospital-like room, after the former was lasered by our very own Homelander. Through one way or another, The Boys’ antagonist in chief, Antony Starr’s character, saw things falling exactly into place.

However, there is little doubt that he will be making a major mistake by letting his new captures interact with the older ones. After all, while confused and captured, all three of Mother’s Milk, Kimiko, and Hughie, will do their best in order to escape wherever they are taken to, and for them to have any sort of access to sane-minded supes such as Jordan or Emma or Andre, would invariably lead to a team-up.

There is little doubt that there are a range of possibilities in which Season 5 can go. However, considering Gen V Season 2 will release sooner, sometime in 2025, chances are that the shared universe will come together in a way not seen before. After all, there has been chronological sense with respect to the two series thus far, and the kind of events that we just saw unfold as The Boys Season 4 finale means that there are bound to be crossovers between the two series.

Whether that directly includes the likes of Kimiko, Hughie and Mother’s Milk finding themselves exactly where the Gen V protagonists did, remains to be seen.

There is little doubt that Season 4 did not quite live up to the expectations of the more ambitious fans. However, the narrative was bound to slow down at some point of time, considering the three seasons of helter-skelter action that The Boys had given viewers until Season 4.

Furthermore, the latest season may have been slower, but it was also very obviously setting up the chaos that Season 5 is now set to be completely entrenched in. The Season Finale saw a range of stunning developments, with Victoria Neuman being ripped into shreds by Billy Butcher, who finally seems to have gained some semblance of control over his mental powers.

Butcher’s monstrosity can be expected to be on full show in Season 5 right from the beginning as well. After all, the only supe that he genuinely seemed to believe in, in the form of Ryan, did all he could to prove to Butcher that not a single supe deserves his sympathies, let alone love.

His prompt response was Neuman’s murder, as he very plainly told Hughie towards the end that The Boys must enter ‘no deals’ with supes.

Butcher, despite his newfound powers that seem to have made him one of the strongest supes around, is bound to be left struggling for allies in what’s left of The Boys. There are a number of ways things can go from here, but Butcher quite straightforwardly appears ready to meet his demise, although one can expect a plethora of gore before he eventually falls. That is of course, assuming that he is too far down the road to listen to reason, and once again team up with his favorite group of rebels.
