When the Fantastic Four casting was made by Marvel Studios, they shared a poster that essentially served as concept art for the film while also possibly hinting at the potential time setting for the reboot. With the 1960s vibes, including their costumes, it wouldn’t be a shock at all if Fantastic Four gets to be a period piece, especially if they utilize the Negative Zone as part of their storytelling. But until more story details emerge for the Fantastic Four reboot, time will tell how they are going to approach the heroes’ MCU debut.

With the incredible comic history that exists with the Fantastic Four, Marvel Studios really have the opportunity to go in whichever direction they want, especially by utilizing story elements that other live-action versions didn’t do.
